Description:  Join us on Aug 28th as the Beehive Mopars and the Corvette Club take us on a day cruise to Chesterfield, Idaho

Nestled in the foothills of Idaho's Portneuf Valley, Chesterfield Offers an excellent visitor experience. Located between Lava Hot Springs and Soda Springs, Idaho and along the Oregon Trail. The Idaho village established in 1880, is a significant historic site that calls attention to a specific period of time.

The idea for settlement first came to Chester Call as he was traveling through the valley in 1880, in search of grazing land away from the overcrowded Salt Lake Valley. The next spring, he brought his family up to settle a small ranch. He rallied some friends and family, and before too long, the town of Chesterfield arose in the foothills of Idaho's Portneuf Valley. Today it is a Ghost Town with the Meetinghouse, Mercantile, and some historic homes restored to their original state.

We will depart at 9:00 AM on Saturday, Aug 28th from the Lowes parking lot at 350 N 545 W in Bountiful. Our normal departure point from Smiths on 5300 South will be too small to handle the combined clubs. Eat breakfast before you come and show up a little early so we can admire each others cars before we depart.

Members from the South can meet at Smith’s at 655 West 5300 South at 8:00 AM and depart at 8:15 AM as a group to join up with the rest of the club and the Beehive Mopars at the Lowes parking lot in Bountiful.

The Beehive Mopars will lead us to Chesterfield with a stop somewhere for a potty break and lottery tickets. Corvette Club of Utah will bring us home with a stop in Preston, ID for lunch. It will be a fun cruise, some fun roads, country scenery, and the fun of being in a moving parade that will draw the attention of everyone we pass as Corvettes and Mopars cruise down the highway and through their towns.
