Description:  There has been little to no interest in attending the Monterey Sports Car Championship races this year. Therefore the race attendance part of this event has been cancelled as a club event. HOWEVER, the SUBSET will continue as a separate event.

Dave Ohlson will be leading this trip with maybe some twists thrown in to make things interesting. Remember this is Mother’s Day Weekend.

This is Spring Time so bring an umbrella in case we run into rain, a sweatshirt for cool mornings when sea cover is blocking the sun, your National Park Pass, and a light jacket for wind protection. The Club Jacket would be perfect. Please signup on the club webpage if you would like to join us.

Saturday May 13
We will be leaving the Lake Point Flying J at about 8:30 (So get there a bit early) on Saturday May 13, 2023 and taking anyone who is interested in this event along for the ride. I plan to stop in Elko, NV for lunch and fuel and continue to Reno. I will be staying at the Comfort Inn & Suites Airport Convention Center, 1250 East Plumb Lane, Reno, NV, Phone (775) 682-4444.

As a side note:
Dave and Char will be visiting family in Santa Rosa on Sunday, but we will be passing through the Napa Valley and Sonoma wine regions around noon on Sunday for anyone that might want to take an afternoon detour and checkout some wineries. Anyone who is interested in seeing San Francisco, Sunday afternoon might be an opportunity to go into the city and miss the weekday traffic and crowds.
