Description:  Come and Join Roy and Billie on a trip to see the largest military vehicle collection in the U.S.

Friday, 20 Sep We will meet up at the Flying J in Willard at exit 357 from I-15 driver’s meeting at 0845 , leaving at 0900.
First stop is at the Bear Lake Overlook rest stop on 89. From there we go to Afton, Wy for lunch and to see the world’s largest elk horn arch. You’ll pick your own restaurant for lunch so we don’t overwhelm one and take a long time to get done. After Afton, we drive to Jackson and take a break at the Maverick station.
Then it’s on to Dubois, WY. We will be staying at the Twin Pines Lodge and Cabins for 2 nights at 218 W Rams Horn St. I have a block of 15 rooms reserved at the rate of $105 per night, which is way less than going rate if you get one alone. You must call (307) 455-2600 to reserve your room in the block and tell them you are with the Corvette Club of Utah to get that rate.
Choose your own restaurant for supper.

Saturday, 21 Sep
We leave the hotel at 0930 to drive to the National Museum of Military Vehicles, which is 8 miles SE on highway 26. Entry to the museum is 16-20$. We will spend the day there and have lunch in their cafe. They close at 1700 (5PM) and then back to the hotel and supper where you like.

Sunday, 22 Sep
Check-out, drivers meeting at 0830 then head south on 26. First rest stop is South Pass 28 on Wy highway 28
Lunch is in Kemmerer, Wy. The places are small, so we’ll split up between the Arctic Circle and Pizza Hut, which are close together. There is a Chevron nearby if anyone needs gas.
Then we head to Woodruff, UT and take 39 over Monte Christo to Huntsville for our last break.
If you want a drink there, Huntsville is home to the oldest bar in Utah, the Shooting Star.M
We’ll take Trapper’s loop to I-84 and go our own ways when we get to Ogden.

Please sign up on the sign-up sheet if you want to go!
