| Description: | For 45 years the Mountain West Street News magazine has been a source of information for the intermountain car clubs and cars enthusiasts. Our Corvette Club of Utah has been a partner and contributor to the magazine since the beginning. Bob and Louise (Weezie) Eames and their staff were the editors and publishers of the publication for all those years. Bob Eames passed away in 2023 and after great consideration, and since so much information is now shared by social media, Weezie has decided to end the by-monthly publication. The final issue was the November-December issue. The numerous participating car clubs have decided to organize one final ‘Street News Picnic/Car Show in recognition of Weezie, her family and staff of the Mountain West Street News. There will be no registration or fee required. All cars and motorcycles are welcome. Join us on Sunday June 2, 2024 at Municipal Park, 2200 West 5900 South Roy, Utah from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Music will be provided by J.C. Hacket and food will be available from the Layton Burger Stop food bus. There will be no raffles or auctions, just a big Thank You for all the years of the Mountain West Street News.
