| Description: | Sandy City has invited the Corvette Club of Utah to participate in their July 4th Parade. We will lead the parade around Centennial Parkway. Everyone is welcome to participate. The $400 received for our participation will be given to this year’s charity, the Utah Food Bank.
The route has changed this year. Staging will take place in the Forever21 parking lot on the north side of the mall. We will start from the south and travel to the north around the promenade behind Target. This will be reverse from years past. There will be plenty of parking at the mall for our group. Please meet there by 5:15pm. Bob and Gin Strong are extending an invitation for CCU members in the parade to come to their home for an after parade picnic in their backyard. Their address is 10286 Weeping Willow Drive, Sandy. They will have hamburgers and bratwurst, pasta salad, corn on the cob and chocolate cake. Jin is asking members to bring chips, salsa and dips along with any appetizers. Gin would like a head count of who is coming, so please RSVP to 801-599-9528. |
