| Description: | Come and Join Bernie and Terri on their annual Route. 66 Fun Run Wednesday, May 1st Meet at Thanksgiving Point exit 284 by the water tower in the parking lot. Drivers meeting at 8:45 am depart at 9:00 am. Lunch at approximately 12:30 pm in Moab. Then onto Bluff, Utah. We will stay at Desert Rose Inn - 701 Main Street Bluff, Utah. Phone: (866) 430-2692 - (435) 672-2303. Price of room: $ 224.00 plus tax for one night. Reservations under Corvette Club of Utah under Bernie. Breakfast is included in the room price. Thursday, May 2nd Drivers meeting at 8:30 am. Highlights for the day include a drive through Monument Valley on the way to lunch on a corner in Winslow AZ. If time permits we will stop by the Meteor Crater outside Flagstaff and then off to Williams. We will be staying at Days Inn - 2488 West Historic Route 66 Williams, AZ 86406. Phone: (928) 635-4051. Go HERE to get tickets for the Grand Canyon Railroad. Friday, May 3rd 8:30 am Meet at the Grand Canyon railroad station in Williams for the train ride to the canyon. The train leaves at 9:30 and arrives at 11:30 Have lunch, walk about, and depart at 3:30 for Williams we will get a drink and leave Williams, The Cost for the train is $77.26 per person you will need a national park pass. You can purchase one when buying your train tickets. We will purchase the tickets in advance, and you will be notified when to purchase and what conf.# to use, I am arranging for the group all to be in the same car, But you can look up the info at www.thetrain.com But please wait to purchase your tickets I will give you the conf# as soon as I get it. We will be heading for Kingman staying at the Wayfarer’s Inn 2815 E. Andy Devine Ave. Phone Number 928-753-6271, spending 2 nights $159 plus tax per night.dinner at Oysters Mexican restaurant. Saturday, May 4th 8:00 am drivers meeting leave for Seligman for the fun run start. We will pick up our packets in Seligman, all run details will be discussed at the driver's meeting. Dinner in Kingman at the Dambar happy hour at 6:30 pm order food at 7:00 pm. Sunday, May 5th Drivers meeting at 8:30 am leave for Oatman, Topock, Golden Shores, then on to Lake Havasu for lunch at Shugrues, overlooking the London Bridge, then on to Laughlin Nevada, We Will be staying at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino for 2 nights Rates are $56.00 +resort fee $12.99 + tax per night rooms under the Corvette Club of Utah conf # is GCORVET or Corvette Club of Utah. Tuesday, May 7th Drivers meeting at 8:00 leave for Salt Lake City via, Las Vegas and into Mesquite for lunch at the Samurai 21 Japanese. Grill and then off to Salt Lake arrive home at about 6:00 pm.
